Fun with the Showalters

Lane's sister Mindi and her family came into town from New York and we sure did love having them here!
We started off the morning with some more berry picking. Then we headed to the dinosaur museum.
Andrew was VERY excited to build a dinosaur. Jackson putting on its head. Tatum has a leg. I attempted to get a group shot, but this was the best I got! Maddi and Mally chillin' on the triceratops. Posing with the shark. Andrew and a mammoth. After a lunch break at In-N-Out, we headed to the pool.

After swimming, it was time for naps and a movie, while the women went shopping! After dinner, we headed out on another shopping trip. They left us this morning, but hopefully we will see them again soon!

Seven Whole Years

Seven years ago, Lane and I got hitched! We had an amazing reception. Then we went on an awesome honeymoon to San Antonio. Now we almost have 4 kids. Man, how time flies!!

Jackson's First Camping Trip

This weekend, Lane took Jackson camping with his co-worker and his son.They had a blast. Jackson did say the only thing that would have made it better was if me and Andrew could have come. What a sweetie!

The next morning, they headed out on the boat to do some crawdad fishing. Jackson's first crawdad. Lane eating his crawdad. Taking off the tail. Strawberry Boys!

We have been so excited that our strawberry plants are big producers this year. Andrew has been known to pick some not so ready berries just because he can't stop eating them! I sure love these boys!

Happy Father's Day!!

Lane and his boys!! Here is what Jackson made Lane at church. He even sang to him in sacrament meeting!

Jackson was very excited to give Lane his father's day presents. He and Andrew got Lane a remote control monster truck and then I gave him some dutch oven cookbooks. He is also getting something to make bullets, but I don't really know what it is!

Lane, we hope you had an awesome father's day. You really are the best dad and your boys absolutely adore you. We love you!!

Ma-Goon

Today was our annual trip to Lagoon with Layton. Jackson was so excited to go and Andrew got in on his excitement, but didn't really know what to expect. We got there early because we weren't sure how long I could last, but we made it. We had a blast!

First stop were the boats because the line is always so long for this ride. We were actually the only ones on this boat trip! Then to the airplanes. Puff was a big hit. The cars. Helicopters. Rockets. Dragon Ride. We took a train tour and the boys loved it. The tiger acted like he wanted to eat us. Official Lagoon heights. Karli and Abi met us at Lagoon that day and took the boys on rides that I couldn't go on and that made Lane a bit sick! So glad they were there. The boys loved the swings. Pirate Ship. Ladybug Drop. Bulgy the whale. After our lunch break, we hit the Odysea. Then all the boys went on Bombora. Abi took Jackson on the Dragon twirl, while Lane and Andrew went on the dinosaur drop. We said goodbye to Karli and Abi and then they boys hit the spaceships and picked up some chicks! They loved the bumpercars and they went on those twice! We bought some cotton candy and headed home! It was one awesome day!
